Internet Explorer 8 Beta dans les bacs
A l’occasion de la la conférence MIX 08. Microsoft a dévoilé Internet Explorer 8, a mon avis le premier navigation qui respecte les recommandations du W3C by Microsoft (il étais temps) comme il a déjà passer le test Acid2 avec succès, Vous pouvez même le tester vous mémé dès maintenant comme la version beta1 de IE8 est en téléchargement. (Attention aux bugs…!)
les principales nouveautés que va apporter la version IE 8 :
- Meilleur prise en charge des standards (CSS 2.1, HTML 5, mode de rendu… cf. IE 8 Details Announced At Mix 08), gestion native du bouton ‘Back’ avec Ajax, gestion native du mode offline et de la resynchronisation, nouveaux outils pour les développeurs (débuggeur intégré pour javascript et CSS)
- Gestion des activités, l’équivalent de liens lourds vers des services Microsoft (cf. Internet Explorer 8 Has Arrived)
- Possibilité de s’abonner à des bouts de page pour en suivre les mises à jour (nom de code = WebSlices), l’équivalent des Web clips de Safari (cf. Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 8 chasing Apple’s Safari)
- Notons au passage que les WebSlices repose sur le microformat hAtom (cf. hAtom and IE8’s “WebSlices”), pour ceux qui ne savent toujours pas ce que sont les microformats alors lisez ceci : Pour comprendre le web sémantique et la notion de microformats.
Microsoft a aussi profité du Mix 08 pour dévoiler Silverlight 2 (concurrent de Adobe Systems) et Expression Studio 2, disponibilité lui aussi en téléchargement (Download Silverlight 2 Beta 1).

I was questioning what’s up with that bizarre gravatar??? I know 5am is early and I’m not attempting my greatest at that hour, having said that I hope I don’t appear to be this!
